  • I will intoroduce famous Japanese curry chain shop. Curry is very popular in Japan, It is the best food for a lot of Japanese people. Japanese curry is more thick than others. The reason may be I am Japanese, so I don’t know it is the best for you or not, but I believe it is worth to try. Every curry is very good for me, but Japanese curry is the best for me.
  • Toshi-koshi (年越し) – The last day of year.
  • Christmas day – Japanese Christmas day is different from Western countries.
  • Haloween – In Japan, Haloween is just a cosplay party.
  • People go to seeing colourful leaves which is turned red or yellow.
  • Natsu-matsuri (夏祭り) – Summer festival. There are any reason to held festivals. One of them is celebrating the harvest.
  • We welcome back to ancestor’s spirits and pray for it.

White day – This is opposit from Balentine’s day.Hina-matsuri (雛祭り) – Gril’s day. It’s is doll’s festival.Now female also give it to just friend or colleague. In Japan female gives chocolate to male who they loves. Balentine’s day – Japanese Balentine’s day is different from Western countries.We usually eat Maki-sushi, roll-sushi, and throw beans with shouting “Demons out, fortune in”.

    Setsu-bun (節分) – We pray for our happiness.Long long time ago in Japan, we believed that new year is born in new year’s day, and we are not sure whether new year is born or not. “Akemashite omedeto” directoly means “congraturation for that new year has come”. We say “Akemashite omedeto(あけましておめでとう)” each other. We eat Ozouni(お雑煮), it’s kind of soup with mochi, and osechi, it’s like a bento. We usualy go to shrein or temple and pray for our health or something happy, we call this activity Hatsu-moude (初詣). O-shogatsu(お正月) – It’s a new years day.
